We need your help! The COVID-19 outbreak hit right as our Spring After-School classes were ramping up, all of our students were forced into self-quarantine, they lost their social interaction at school with teachers and friends and they lost the support of their coaches in all of their extra-curricular activities and now we fear many parents have lost their jobs! We anticipate a lot more families will be requesting scholarships to participate and that’s where the ATX Golfer Challenge comes in.
This challenge invites Austin Area golfers and footgolfers of all skill levels to play Harvey Penick Golf Campus (HPGC) at least once a year. If every golfer in Austin played HPGC one time this year (and every year after), we could easily provide a scholarship to every child in need. The HPGC is a 9-hole golf course and home to Austin’s only 18-hole footgolf course. The First Tee of Greater Austin owns and operates the HPGC and all revenues stay on the campus to support our youth programs.
Like everyone’s favorite golfer Arnold Palmer we will all be charging back… Needless to say, the impact on First Tee has been tough but there is a very simple and fun way you can help… by playing golf! Please take the ATX Golfer Challenge and come out and play Harvey Penick Golf Campus!
100% of the proceeds stay at First Tee of Greater Austin—Please help Get Austin Kids Back on Course!
If you can not make it out to play, please consider making a donation.
